CA reactor from HawkDL?

hey has anyone purchased a CA reactor from Larry aka HawkDL in RC(lives in Clairemont)? i got his and now the rubber stomp on the bottom where circulation pump feeds into is now loose and water leaks.

whats the best way to stop the leakage???
i was think of sealing the rubber stomp with silicone.

anyone?

Its a Uni-seal (sp?) You might try to get another one online, should be pretty easy.

You might try silicone until you can replace it. Not sure if it will work.

I'll look at mine in the morning (its in the garage), I don't remember what it looks like but don't think it's a uni-seal.

take a pix. Mine isn't a uniseal, but a pvc fitting glued into a tapped acrylic hole....

its not uniseal but looks similar. looks like a trapezoid rubber cork stopper that fits into the bottom hole in acrylic tube.

You just need to replace it. It's probably another uniseal clone. I am sure a uniseal will probably fit. Larry used uniseals on his later models.

Sounds like Larry might have mixed up things. I have his last reactor made, its a uni seal for sure.
