Cadlights 165 build

Update,

Tank is filled to just below the weir to get the cycle started while I wait for my sump to arrive. Water is cloudy so I didn't bother with a picture. I did do a re-aquascape because of that awesome center piece I found at Discount aquariums.

I was also able to finish up my control panel. The doser will probably be moved to where the power strip is, which is temporary. Reason why I have to move the doser is because the panel originally had hanging hardware that attached to the stand, but I decided to get a little fancy and switched them out for hinges.

Here's the rest of my equipment list:
-ATI sunpower modded with 4 Hydra 26HD
-Maxspect Gyre XF250 x2
-Vortech MP40qd x2(not sure if I'm keeping these, might be too powerful on the back wall)
-Neptune Apex classic
-Skimz monster SM203 DC
-Avast swabbie
-GHL 2.1 standalone doser
-Custom Advanced Acrylics sump and ATO container
-Fluval SP4 return, SP2 utility

Sump and ATO reservoir is in. Not sure if I'm keeping the right section for frags and new corals or using it for a refugium. Going to spend the next couple days plumbing it. Wish me luck.

Looking very nice. Love the sump. JP

Thanks Jeff, I designed it myself. Nothing ground breaking, just wanted the return section in the middle so I can control flow through the refugium/frag section. Also, since I don't like using filter socks, I had a detritus trap made as the first chamber where it can be vacuumed out. I'll still be able to add a drawstring filter sock to the inlet pipe for water polishing every now and then.

That sump looks really nice! I like it. Can't wait to see what your plans are for fish and corals.

Update: Tank is cycling, but water still hasn't cleared up. Weird because 3rd day after filling up, water was crystal clear and now cloudy ever since. Just finished my manifold last night and success!!! No leaks and no more getting high on PVC cement.

Next up: Setting up Apex and buttoning up all the wires.

Great design on the sump, and I love the rock work! Makes me rethink what I had planned, as I think it may be too tall.
