CadLights 34g Mini-II ZeoVit

Hey guys, thanks, it started with just the Nano Pack, but I slowly added more additives:
Korallen-Zucht Pohl's Xtra
Korallen-Zucht Sponge Power
Korallen-Zucht Pohl's Coral Vitalizer
Korallen-Zucht Amino Acid LPS
Korallen-Zucht Amino Acid High Concentrate
Korallen-Zucht Coral Booster
Korallen-Zucht Coral Snow
Korallen-Zucht Bio-Mate
Korallen-Zucht ZeoBak Microorganism Solution

With this routine:

Monday:
5 drops SP
1 drop CV
1 mL CB
1 drop AAHC
Tuesday:
1 mL Xtra
Wednesday:
1 drop CV
1 mL AALPS
1 drop ZB with 1 mL CS
Thursday:
1 drop AAHC
5 drops SP
1 mL CB
Friday:
1ml Xtra
1 drop BM with 1 mL CS (Not using BioMate at the moment)
Saturday:
1 drop CV
1 mL CB
Sunday:
10% Water Change
1 drop ZB with 1 mL CS (Post WC)
Sorry to quote a post from two years ago but youre doing two drops of zeobac a week along with all the other additives. I just reset my 20g Zeo tank as I overdosed Zeo start. I like the idea of Zeo but with a nano it's hard to get the doses right.

I agree, correct amount of zeo start dosing in small tanks is extremely difficult.
I have had bacterial bloom issues. Algae issues and what not when trying to do zeovit in my nano tank. Ultimately I gave up and moved to other conventional methods.

Yeah the system is not designed for tanks this small. I run a 20g and with rock displacement I probably have 15 gallo s of water. Going to try 1 drop of zeobac per week and see what happens

I believe the purpose of zeobac & zeo start dosing is to bring down the nitrates and phosphates. I think this can be better achieved by doing more frequent water changes in case of a smaller tank.
My intention is not to discourage you from zeovit. Far from that, i believe that a correct implementation of zeovit can produce awesome results.

I stopped using ZEOvit a while back.... haven't had any issues since. A little too much guess work and trial and error, and the error can be "full system meltdown" catastrophic!

Lookin great. Thanks for sharing!

How far apart were those shots taken for the timelapse? I have a timelapse controller, but always worry about the timing to make the shots look consistent like yours. Any tips?

Upgraded my ecosmart driver to the new Quiet Drive, and added a second mp10qdw...

gonna be some serious water movement!

Did you notice a significant noise difference? I've always been curious about how well the upgrade actually works on the MP10.

With the driver upgrade, you still hear the older motor noise... the whiny high pitch dissipated which is good....

however....

when compared to my brand new mp10qdw.....

whoa....

the new qd's are dead silent.... i had to touch the dry side to make sure it was working!!!!

Tron, holy crap sir!!!!
I haven't checked your thread in a while. But wow, that Red Planet is insane on the back wall!
