Calcium chloride food grade

Even if you buy the 50lbs bulk deal, it's almost $2.00/lb, why would you want to use it? And at that price, it better be pure! I use dowflake where a 50lb bag costs about $15 and it works just fine. I've been using it for a year now.

It will be safe to use. All the testing has been done to make it "food grade" Its just a higher percentage of CaCl(94-97%) instead of the 83-87% for the Dowflake.

That being said that price is insane. I work for a company that distributes both. That is some serious mark-up.

Food grade unfortunately doesn't mean imply reef safe. It might have a fair amount of copper by reef standards, and be perfectly safe to eat.

Thx. Make sense.
Ron, I found dowflake 50lbs for $55+ shipping that why I leaned to the food grade $90 free shipping.
