Calculating Interceptor Treatment

I need to treat a 70 gallon net volume system, but, I have two of the small (11-25) pound dog interceptor pills ... everything I have read is based off of the large dog version of interceptor ... does anyone know the dosage recommendation for the smaller version?

The small tabs contain 5.75mg milbemycin oxime, compared to 23mg for the large dog size, so one large tab equals roughly 4 small tabs.

and if my memory serves me correctly, the large tab will treat 400 gallons?

I think it's like 380g, but you are essentially correct. I used 1/4 of a large pill when dosing my 100g. Seems like one small pill might have been the correct dose too.

okay ... so if treating 70 gallons, I should be able to grind up both pills and treat three times .. each time with a third of the of the total (two pills) .. does this sound right? Thanks.

Yes, that sounds about right. 1 small tab treats roughly 100g, your tank being roughly 2/3 of that, 3 treatments, 2 tabs total.
