Calling for Imperator Angel fish owner - Need help

I just purchase an imperator angel fish from Africa. He is about 6 inches - Pic attached. I purchased him along with a few other angel fish ( Koran, Queen, Singapore, red flame) around 4 inches or so. I heard angel fishes can not be kept in the same tank. But they are getting along in my tank just fine. The imperator is the biggest one so where ever he goes, the smaller ones just move out of his way. But they don't chase or bite each other.

All are eating well except the imperator angel. I tried marrine algae, Mysid shimp, angel formula one/two, and choppd frozen shrimp. He would watch other fish eat, but he didn't even try to take a bite.

He is my wife's favorite fish so I don't mind spending extra money to buy what ever food he likes to eat. Any advice on what food to buy or how to get him eat would be much appreciated.

Keep feeding what you have listed. He may take a week or so to start eating. If he hasn't eaten anything after two weeks, then panic. :)

Yeah I know. that is a lot of fish for 135g tank, but they are still small at the moment. I do have a plan to migrate them to a 300+gallon tank in the near future.

I was thinkin' the same thing bigevill was.....but if you do set up the 300+ gallon that'll work. As far as the food is concerned, I would give Rod's Food a try. It's a good excuse to get up to his shop too :). Good Luck.

I Heard so much about Rod's food from so many people here. Now I am really curious how good it really is ( my fish will be the judge of course) Or may be I will microwave it and have a taste myself  . May be I will take a trip down there this weekend.

A few things that mine used to eat you might want to try: Ripe banana, whole jumbo shrimp, cheato, grape caulerpa, and dried algea sheets.
