My female False Perc hosting in a BTA! I've had a pair for about 4 years, about 6 months ago I moved them from a 120 to a 30. 3 weeks ago I added the BTA, which they prompty ignored until today. Now she just has to convince the male to join her.

congrats! it took mine a few weeks as well unfortunately the poor male isnt allowed near it lol. beautiful rbta btw

I have a pair of Percs that ignored my RBTA for almost a year before hosting...

The day they began, I had added a trio of Anthias... Not sure if that was a coincidence, or they were seeking refuge from the new additions and the commotion that ensued... :)

Great pics... Glad they're hosting for you...

The BTA hasn't been as open as it had been. I';m thinking its not used to the irratation. The male is still not allowed in...

That BTA is lovely! I'm jealous....I want mine to have those bubble tips!!!! Would you be willing to tell me what lighting you have, what you feed it etc and any other info? I'd love my nem to be like yours :p

I bought it from my LFS who gets them from another local person whos BTA splits.

I have it in a 30 breeder. With a 6x 39w T5 lighting. Probably overkill since most of my corals are pretty light. Its about 8-10" deep. I feed it a varied mix. I normally turn my circulation off and let the food fall onto the BTA for about 40 sec before i turn them on and let the clowns and yellow watchman get a chance to eat. I rotate feeding, frozen mysis, frozen brine, and pellet. I haven't been feeding it large chunks off fish but plan too, just haven't hit the grocery store.
