Came home to a driver alarm and found a cracked magnet!

Took my 6100 apart when I came home to a driver alarm and found that the magnet was cracked?
Is that a normal failure?
How much is a replacement unit?

Replace it with the new 6100.70, the drive units typically last a few years and they need to be replaced.
