Camera for Snorkeling/Diving

Yea, I always run my gopro in movie mode then flip through the frames to find a good one in focus if I want a pic.

Right about in the center of the Molokini Crater, Maui HI. It's called the "middle reef" IIRC. There is a sand shelf about 50ft below us then it drops off to the 360ft floor. Amazing place. If you go there try to get on the first boat. That's when the fish are there.
An early morning find :D

I use a GoPro Hero3 Black with a pole + red filter if I SCUBA, this combo is perfect for me especially during snorkeling as it allows me to get down to the same level as the animals. Here's a sample video snorkeling from Exuma:

Thank you.

What mount do you use and what size SD card?

Make sure the SD card you get is a class 10, if your wanting to shoot good quality video. Some advice, buy extra batteries and 2 SD cards. I use 32g. My black edition uses almost 1 battery per dive.

I use a retractable pole which I bought at REI. It extends about 3ft

Cheers
