Can a black and orange Ocellaris mate?

Just as the title states, I have a big orange Ocellaris adult (2.5"), and a smaller black Ocellaris (1.75"), and wonder if they can pair and mate? I haven't introduced them yet.

yes they can pair up and spawn! that's is if they bond to each other. but if there both females then no! but chance are they will pair up and produce some mocha clowns!!

Intro in a specimen container, at 1.75 there is a chance that may not still be a male.
But yes, they could mate if they do pair up.

I would say the odds are against it being a totally unsexually differentiated juvenile.

We're going to put the only other Ocellaris we have, a juv (1.0") in tank with the female (1.75). That way we have a better chance. We'll then go out and find a black Ocellaris juv for the black female. Thanks....
