Can a Brittle Sea Star?

Go after my Turbos and eat them?
I saw a brittle trying to pull down a turbo that was scooting up the back wall of the tank and the brittle kept trying until I knocked the brittle away.

Over the past 5 days I've found 2 turbo shells.

What do you think?

My brittle does the same thing. If the star is able to pull the snail off the glass, snail always closes up and after a while the star gives up.
Sometimes the snail can't right itself though, because it can't get a grip in the sand. That's when they die and the star can come back to claim it's prize

my brittle was ripping on my xenia so I had to put him in another tank.

They do eat snails and just about anything else ive got a huge green brittle in a 120 reef tank have had hi a year and a half I feed him frozen silversides every 2 to 3 days has not bothered anything stays in his cave a great pet comes out at feeding time
