I have a pair of magnificent firefish and an orange spot diamond goby. They keep to their own, no squabbles and no play between them.

You should be fine.

BTW... both of these are great jumpers, use protection.

We have a Yellow watchman goby, not a diamond. It is paired with a pistol shrimp. Our purple firefish can sometimes be found in the cave with the 2 of them.

They should be fine... instead of eggcrate i would suggest plexiglass... gives one a little more piece of mind while at work, sleeping.

I had 2 scissortails and a firefish in my 75 and they were fine. I have not sen 1 of my scissortails in a few days though. I believe that our cat found a free meal on the floor!
