Can an Anemone over eat?

I ask this because I have a Magnifica yellow tip. He is about 10 inches is size. There are two true perculas that host him. He has been in my tank 3 weeks now. He sits on a large peice of liverock about 10 inches under a 150 watt mh 10k. I have six maxijets hooked up to two RedSea Wavemaker Pros that supply him with low to high waterflow. My feeding concern is this: For the last 3 weeks he has eaten a one to two inch piece of shrimp everyday??? He inhales it?
Thanks for any feedback!

they can overeat. but when they do, they regugitate it. if yours is loving it, stick with it. my bubble tip eats three pieces of silverslide a week, plus shrimp and krill my clowns feed it

I have a H. Magnifica also. I feed him two shrimp every other day and so far this has worked. However, I have only had him for 3 weeks. He is doing great and looks 100% healthy. He has moved to the VERY top of my glass close to the halides. I would like him to move on my rocks, but do not want to disturb him and cause stress. I know these are hard anemones to keep alive. Would any of you move the anemone to the rocks which are about 20 inches below the water surface away from the lights? It would look better and more natural on the rocks.

EraseF301, the reason he is so high on the glass is cause you don't have the lighting he needs. 256w of PC s not nearly enough for him, especially if your highest rock to the lights is 20".

The nem may take food every day, but he really dosen't need it. I stick to a schedule of once a week. The nem still grows slowly, but not out of control. In a 55g that eill happen within a year at the rate you're feeding.
