it was not stuck to a rock at all. i know its still alive though because when i picked it up the foot was sticky and tried to stick to my hand. i have qt'd him in a breeder net. he seems to be falling apart a bit though. if it continues, i will have to get rid of him. i dont want everything else dying too. thanks for the insights..
