Swiping pics w/out giving credit happens often, that's why many put a watermark on their pics if they are concerned about it.
Once you post pics on a public forum, there's not much you can do about it.
Years ago where I had my photo's printed(back in film days) I walked in to find they used 2 of my pics for coffee mugs, paper weights, fridge magnets, and their new poster showing print sizes...

LMAO, gotta love it! Did they tell you it was a compliment? :spin1:

I'm not terribly concerned since it's not the first time, so I just thought I would give the forum an opprtunity to show a little common courtesy, so we'll see what happens. I'm actually a bit surprised they used my pics as they are pretty bad.

Yeah, I wouldn't be happy if someone was making money off mine though. There was someone on ebay selling a clown fish with one of my pics, but once I emailed them, they "borrowed" someone elses.

Wish I could get Aquacon to take mine down...
I clicked on that link & it didn't go anywhere, did they already take it offline? LOL

photoshop will let you add a watermark. im not good enough at taking a pic to allow some on to rip me off. if you put it on photobucket i know that the pics posted there free domain and can be copied freely.

You know, back then I was working on a portfolio, so I was actually stoked/flattered, but when I asked for a sample of each, the next day all was gone, and so was the regular guy.
No clue why.

haha! Too funny!

Samcro, good to know about the public domain thing at Photobucket. I certainly will never use nor recommend it to anyone I know now!

what if I don't have photoshop? I use photobucket.....:mad2:

I myself do use photobucket, and I know it is public domain, but that doesn't really bother me, nothing I have there is worth anything really, and I never load anything private there.
I always just assumed it's a free host for pics that just may very well be treated like stock photos.
Now I do laugh that occasionally I will see friends coral pics used on sites, but really I think it's sad that I'm on here so much that I actually recognize other peeps corals!LOL
