i got a copperband and within 2 days it was eating well on frozen brine shrimp and mysis, no sort of training needed.. i was wondering if its possible to pellet train them?

Mine does eat NLS pellets but I would not rely on just that alone.
He obviously prefers mysis and goes nuts on frozen blood worms, and I see him pick at stuff all the time, pods and such.
Eating ANYTHING is a win w/ these guys.

Well pellet food is not found in the ocean so you could say that it is not its normal food. However there are a lot of things in the ocean that are not in your tank and pellet food is very nutritious.

You shouldn't be feeding any one food to any fish and the diet should be varied. Pellet food comes in in many forms to cover a wide variety of diets.

If you can get a copperband to eat pellet and frozen, that would be a good thing.

I'm going to disagree with Paul... if you can get a fish eating pellets it's a great thing... regardless of how "natural" it is....

I can send you some

I invented them along with blackworms and the internet.

Algore is suing for loss of his intellectual property (notice the subtle oxymoron?). He didn't invent the internet, but has dibs on the claim that he did. I tend to believe the blackworms claim.

Well the entertainment value of Paul's posts is what keeps me sane during winter. I am so glad that Paul had such a mild winter.
