Can fish recover from HLLE

It was my understanding that fish could not recover from HLLE. Also that it could not be treated
I really hope I am wrong here

ellisjuan has a yellow eye kole tang that was treated and recovered fully from hlle.

I Had a Koran angel and every time I started running activated carbon he would show signs of HLLE. I would take the carbon offline and feed a high quality flake food or selcon or vitamin soaked foods and it would clear up in a few days.
