Hello guys,

Thought I should share the video of my Gig after 6 months in my tank.
Can I add a Blue Gig on the left of the tank?
The tank is 4' long, 5' deep, and 2' tall.

Thanks,

I believe so...

You have one already, so you know how big they get, plus you have plenty of water volume. I would just want to make sure you had plenty of room for your fish to swim :)

I am not aware of there being a problem with chemical competition between two giganteas... but I don't know that anyone really knows.

If I had a nice gig like that I wouldnt think of adding another one for the possibility of introducing an infection or anything else that a new nem could have.

The only thing that I would do (( I have had this issue with S. haddonis, not sure if it happens with Gigs, but better to be safe )) would QT the new Gig for a couple of weeks -- wouldn't want to introduce any "infection" that could wipe out the existing one -- lost 2 S. haddonis that way

BonsaiNut, anemoneguy, and Toddrtrex,

Thank you for your inputs.
I think, when I find a Blue Gig, I will setup a small, separate tank to keep it for the first few months for safe.
