Can I add more?

Roger,

I have a 180 with a 7095 and 2 6100's. Since I have a lot of dead spots in the tank, I was wanting to do either the following:

1. add two more 6100's for a total of four.
2. wavebox and two 6100's
3. two6200's and a 7095

Please advise me as to what I should do.

I have a 200g tank 84x24x24. I just got 2 of the 4 - 6100's that I will be using in my tank; the other 2 are to arrive next week. From what I can tell, by watching the 2 pumps work this evening, it would be very beneficial to have 4 pumps.

For example, you can point 2 pumps so that you have circular flow, but with 4 pumps you could reverse that flow.

I agree with Bladez, option 1 has this advantage.

The wavebox is another good option because it really gets rid of the dead spots, every drop of water is moving. It can't lift heavy detritus though.
