Can i add zoos on the glass?

This is my tank do you guys think that it would be a good idea if i stick my other zoanthids to the glass coz here i only get them below $3 per colony,so i have many spares,and frags.the frags i sel for $1 dollar each

btw will it die or will the zoanthids be fine if i stick it to the glass?

some people have them all the way up to near the suface, some use PCV pipe on the glass and grow them on it.

my friend glued some to the corraline that was growing to the back glass on his tank. it makes fragging them super easy,

Yes it can be done and is easy to do in fact. One way is to put a veggie clip on the glass. Then you could stick a zoa frag on the clip and let it grow. Pretty soon it will take over the entire clip and then grow onto the glass.

I took a small rock with 20+ polyps of zoas and leaned it up in the back corner of our tank. About 2 weeks later they had started growing onto the glass. It's quite possible and not all that difficult to do.

You could also try those cheap magnets you can get from places like aquatraders and such. just glue the frags to the magnets.. with that you can easily move the zoos around the tank walls ( helps with light acclimation as well. ( slowly move them up from the bottom )... once you find a desired spot just leave the magnet in place. I do that with my sps frags.

Besides the ones from aquatradrs, you could use these guys... same effect..

people have been using these type to hook up monti caps and other type corals for their tank walls... So zoos wouldn't be different.

i've seen many people w/ bb tanks grow zoas out on the bottom glass and then use a razor to frag them.

Yup, easiest way.. instead of trying to pry them off rocks...

Some used rubble rock to allow them to naturally fragment to newer pastures

My zoanthids grow anywhere. Would look nice colored back wall.
