Can I drink my RO water??

I drink my RO/DI water precisely because my publicly supplied tap water frequently tests negative for chlorine. And has tested positive for coliform bacteria, and I have had my family get sick because of it. I am at the end of a dead end line with a 6" main. When the municipal people come to test it, they run the fire hydrant outside until they get chlorinem THEN they test it and say it's fine, they don't need to fix anything. SO I bought a RO/DI to filter out whatever crap is in there.

My ex-wife is drawing big alimony so I bought her a large RO/DI unit to install on her bath tub. I was hoping the first time she used it when bathing she would go into osmotic shock, her body cells would burst and I could just flush her down the drain.

Unfortunately it doesn't work.

:sad1:

I'm a happy Ro/Di drinker! So's my family!

When I recently attained the much dreaded Reef Tank bug I found out soon enough that I would need to get a RO setup. Once I downloaded all the information on my municipalities water supply I picked up a drinking water kit as well.

Chlorine, Chloramin, Corrosion inhibitors, Ozone, Copper, and bacteriazides. I don't want a heeping glass full of that crap! I'd rather die from deionizing effects; at least the water's pure. As far as taste, I prefer the taste of RO/Di over my municipalities Chlorine taste.

For the exception of Coca Cola I don't see too many water companies that filter their water with RO. I know Poland Spring doesn't. The most a lot of these companies do is use carbon.
