Funky names are ok if you know what they are...


This is 1 colony, I have 3 now, from a $5 frag I got from John with 5 polyps on it. These do not eat.

This one came on the Live rock from Tonga. I think thats where Marine Warehouse gets or used to get their rock. They eat whole mysis.

The first are a zoathis species in a morph that looks like the common Fire and Ice. I assume they are more brighter red tentacles and lighter centers. I have some too. The lower pic are most likely protopalythoas- they readily eat and need it to grow at any speed.

a zooanthus species of some color morph and the other i think is spelled palythoa... but I could be wrong on the spelling... the zoanthus will eat on occasion and do filterfeed. I got some eagle eyes from John and they do eat on occasion.. and I went from 5 to about 50 polyps in 2 months by feeding!!
