Hey everyone, sorry if this is not the proper forum, I think it is though. Anyway, can someone explain to me how to frag a piece of diploastrea heliopora and an acanthastrea coral without killing them? Both are kinda big for my small tank. The diploastrea itself is almost 8 inches across and eats everyother night. the ting that bothers me is that I have never seen a feeding response in the three months I have had it from my acanthastrea but it's still alive.

I'm kinda scared to frag these guys because the diploastrea looks really nice, especially at 2 am.

Another question right quick. Do I have to feed every mouth or just some of them? Just curious about that because they are connected unlike my hammer coral.

anyway thanks for any help and advice on my new venture in reefing.

You don't have to feed every poylp. Fragging is easy. Just use a tile saw or a dremel with a diamond bit cut off wheel. And just slice where you want to cut. If the rock is too big just slice a line where you want to frag and take a flathead or a bone cutter and break where you sliced the line. Very easy.

I would say that just about sum's it up.
