can the stream go from 0 to 100% continuously?

i just got an aquasurf for my Aquacontroller and i was playing around with the settings. can the pump handle going from 0 to 100% every 5 seconds all day long or is it much better on the pump to go from 30 to 100. i can create a SWEET wave by going form 0 to 100 but if it is bad for the pump i dont' want to do it...

0-100% is fine interval 1 I believe on the multicontroller does this as well(might be interval 2). Running the pump in the 1-29% is the problem the slow rotation is bad for the pump
