Can you ID this Skimmer?

My friend sold this to me back in 2004. He said it was rated for up to a 125g tank. It's 30" tall and has no writing, or other stamps, etc... that would give the manufacturer.

He owned an online store in the past and had many connections with various manfacturers so it may be a custom build, or prototype.

When he sold it to me I was asking about a Turbofloater 1000 and he said this was 2-3x's better so I bought it. I ran it before on my 72g bowfront, large bioload, heavy feedings and always tested at zero nitrates and nitrites. In short it worked like a king.

If you can identify please post. Thanks,

I am leaning towards it not being a Coralife because I don't remember Coralife making this type of skimmer back in the early part of the decade.

This isn't missing any parts but the pump, not pictured, and was running perfectly when I had it on my bowfront.

Anyone else have an idea, maybe a link or some other kind of reference? Thanks,

Fidel

A Ten year old skimmer of that size Is not very good compared to current models avaiable today. Not worth buying a pump for IMO

By the time you buy a pump for that you could of had a new vertex that is roughly that size for the same price. I am not just trying to toss business Rhett's way again (he has been good to me, so I toss what I can his way), but that is where Bill and I got our Vertex skimmers for good prices IMO. Of course you have a plethra of choices as far as skimmers go, but I would def upgrade to a newer model. It just depends on your bank account.
