Can you over feed a RBTA?

My crazy clown keeps feeding the 2 RBTA's that is hosting it, so I was wondering could it hurt the nem if it's fed every day?

I was wondering the same thing. Like a snake can gorge itself to death... But Im not to sure they will go out of their way to feed a anemone...

They will spit it out if they don't want to eat. The problem is that bta is going to get HUGE. They can get quite large if fed enough.

Oh mine definitely goes out of his way to feed the nem. I'm actually worried that he is not eating enough because every piece of food it gets he goes straight to the nem and spits it into it. Crazy guy!!

Most likely the clown isnt feeding the anemone on purpose but hideing the food for later like squirles do with nuts, only problem is the anemone eats the food the clown is hideing.

No I really think he is feeding the nem because he never did this behavior until the nem started hosting him. In the past he would just swallow all the food he could get his mouth on, but now he gets the food and goes straight to the nem and spits directly into it.

I had asked the same question a few months ago and confirmed it is a "saving food for later" behavior, even though it looks like the male swims the food right into the middle of the BTA. coincidentally my male started this behavior less than a month before their first spawning, now they lay eggs like clockwork.

Ok, I guess you guys are right. I do notice him cleaning the rock area around the nem, so I guess they are getting ready to do the do:fish1:
