Canadian SPS Dominant Custom Tank

I thought I'd start a thread on my SPS tank in order to get comments from the wealth of knowledge at Reef Central.

I started in this hobby on March 2009 with a 90 Gallon tank, before then I had never owned a single fish... not even a gold fish. lol. It all started when I walked into a LFS that was displaying live shark feeding. Ya, the fish were ok but it really didn't interest me. I strolled through the store and noticed some corals. They has Zoas, Leathers.. nothing too impressive but it caught my attention. After a brief conversation with one the LFS employees he advised me to visit a Reef store and so I did.
I strolled in and BOOM when the Dynamite! I was hooked.. SPS around every corner and so then began my obsession with SPS...(LPS too I guess).

Here's my current tank. It's officially 8 months old.

Wow. For a man who never setup a tank before, you are doing great. I can only hope my tank will be half as good as yours. And I been doing reef off and on for 12 years.

I've dedicated a ton of time in researching everything there is to know about the hobby. I've done a ton of reading here on Reef Central and I give a ton of credit to my LFS ( Oakville Reef Gallery). Knowledge is power.

I guess I should add the dimensions of the tank. It's a custom 3 Side Starfire with the following Dimensions... 52" x 26" x 23". Overflow box is in the rear with 2 returns and 2 drains...

Also.. this is the reason I'm not 100% SPS...

ATI PowerModule.... 6 inches off the water. If you look closely my Strawberry Short Cake Acro is bleached. The Power modules are serious.
