Casy..... What the others have said is true. I have a Candy Cane that I rescued from my LFS. I actually got it as part of some live rock rubble for my bluespot jawfish. I was ready to break it up with a hammer and noticed some flesh on one of the heads and thought, what the heck! I'll put it in my tank and see what happens. At first I would squirt some brine shrimp on it and to my surprise, it ate it. I kept doing this for a while and then I noticed more heads on it.
I then put it on a rock high in my tank, it does get a lot of light and good flow. It now has at least 12 heads! I don't feed it now and it seems to be doing great!
