Candycane question

Can anyone answer me a simple question? I've got 2 types of candycane corals in my tank. One's the striped one and is always fat and fully inflated during the day, with full feeding tentacles during the night. The other one is the kryptonite, and is always small and kind of semi-inflated during the day, but has longer feeding tentacles during the night. Now both of them are at the same levels so they are getting the same amount of lighting and are doing good, but to me they have not grown since i have gotten them over 3 mths ago. All my parameters are good at the moment. Ive got many other corals in the same tank including polyps, leathers, doghnuts, gorgonians, multiple brains and all have had some fantastic growth since the tank has gone up. These ar the only 2 that has not grown at all. Has anyone any idea??

thanks

Mine took 5 months to get used to my tank. They finally are growing at a pretty steady rate. Just dont touch them other than feeding them, and they should get the hint.

They are slow growers. But I definitely have noticed a huge swing in its growth rate when I spot feed as opposed to the past few months when I haven't. I really should start spot feeding again as some polyps have what appear to be 3-4 mouths.

I Usually use Kent Marine ChromaMax every other day (both daytime and night time) along with the juices from mysis shrimp that i squeeze in the water. I'll Start to spot feed them at night from now and see if they catch on. Any other foods you guys recommend?
Thanks

slow growers??!!?? I have a colony that literally doubles every 6 or so months.. I bet my green colony has about 30 to 40 heads on it now.

I have noticed the electric blue ones get bigger heads but don't split as often. Of my three types the pink striped are probably the slowest growers... I keep mine in the sand on the bottom of my tank but I'm running 6 tfho 54 watt bulbs....

I do not feed them.
