Can't Access Server

Did a water change about an hour ago and powered off the apex jr. It sat for about 10 minutes while I did my water change. Since powering it back up, I keep getting "unable to access server" errors. I unplugged the unit and let it sit, then plugged it back in, let it boot and still nothing. I also re booted the modem and also the little wireless thingys. Anyways, still can not access the thing. Any help? I've tried accessing it via the pc laptop and the android phone. Was working fine before the water change.

Thanks
Dennis

Its IP address probably changed.

Do you still have the CD? If so, put it in and let the search utility find it. Then you'll have the new IP address and can log in. Then you can either change it back or leave it and turn off DHCP so it doesn't change again.

I used the cd and it couldn't find it. I also ran the firmware upgrade program and it couldn't find the controller either. It did 20 attempt to connect. It said something about the controler is is "boot mode" or something like that.

I also pulled the unit off and hooked it up direct to the modem just like I did when I did the firmware upgrade recently. Worked fine after the upgrade by the way. I think the problem is that everything times out while trying to connect to it. Not sure what to do. Will probably have to send it in for repair already. Haven't even had it a month.

Thanks for any and all help!!!!

Wow...not really sure what is going on with rc but, I wish neptune would consider moving their support forum to a half way functional board. It takes FOREVER to load anything anymore.

Anyways, used the cd to find the apex unit and it couldn't find it. Used the "update firmware" function and after 20 tries, it couldn't find it either. I unplugged everything from the unit and plugged it straight into the modem (non wifi) and still got nothing. Not sure what to do. Will probably have to send it in and I haven't even had it a month! Hopefully it will continue running its programs; lights, heater, etc even though I can't connect to it right now.

Any and all help is sincerely appreciated!

LOL...Perfect timing!

Well also, I got the thing working. Problem is, I have no idea how I did it. I disonnected it all again and re hard wired it to the modem again. Still didn't get anything. Got fed up, plugged it all back in again to the fish tank, went to access it (just in case) and it fired right up.

Looking back, I should have just went a head and bought the display. I'm far from a control freak and desire the controller to be simple. I control two sets of lights, a heater and a fan. Big wup.
