Buy the book Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson. You won't regret it. It tells you everything you'll need to know, and you can get it for $20 on Amazon.com. Scraping eggs off will kill them. I say buy the book and wait, because if they have done it 2 times in a month as usual pairs do, they probably will keep it up. Just let the larvae hatch and become food until you are completely prepared. The book Clownfishes is the best and recommended by almost all Clownfish breeders. I bought it for $20 on Amazon.com, and it was worth every penny. Except now my clownfish host a flowerpot instead of hundreds of dollars worth of anemones... ;)

check the breeding forum for the logs there.

if your clowns laids eggs yesterday they must be in tune with mine because mine did the same. :bounce3:

I am kind of ghetto about the fry capture. Some people place tile where the clowns lay eggs - this way you can remove the tile and place in a separate tank with slow air flow.

However I prefer allowing my male perc to maintain the eggs in the display. When they are about to hatch - turn off most of the pumps/lights and just have a single led/small flash light (this is assuming your room is dark and you don't have a plasma screen on in front...lol). The fry will come to the surface and I scoop them out.

You will need live rotifers to start - check around for that. Then wean them to baby brine or something else.

If all goes well in 75 days you'll get this:

very cute wish i could have em boucing around in dp...

the tile case might work if i can manage to put a lr or tile between the rocks they lay,

simply method, sound good but the prob is knowing when the hatch time is right and tank is in my shop not at home

if i do manage to catvh them can i put them in a bucket with n airstone or leave them in dp tank in the breeder net

The book will answer your questions, average days til hatch is 8 in an 80 degree tank.
When you estimate that 70% of the eggs have silver tipes(eyes), it's hatch night.
You'll need rotifers before you try raising fry, good luck.
