Can't feed my anemone

I am very frustrated. I usually feed my GBTA frozen krill. I use tongs and stick one to him. He will close up on it and everything is fine. The problem is my maroon clown steals the food from him. I try to keep the clown occupied by putting food elsewhere in the tank but if the anemone doesnt close up fast enough then the clown pulls the krill away from him. after that nothing will stick anymore. Does this happen to anyone else? I thought in the wild clowns feed their hosts?

Try feeding the anemone at night when the fishes are resting.

I used to have to put a net over my anemone till it swallowed the food just to keep the clowns out. It worked very well for me. If you try this make sure the net is considerably bigger than the anemone so it won't get caught up in it.
