I had reproduction in my sea anemones. I believe they are Phymanthus cruciferus ("flower anemones"). They're really a tough little species, I used to buy them bleached and they would color right up.
I came home from work on two monday nights and the males were releasing gametes (I think.)
I read somewhere that the female takes male gametes inside and internally broods them. A few weeks later I saw swarms of baby sea anemones!
Seems like a good candidate for captive propagation! I had tons of them. Unfortunately I moved my tank and slime algae did most of them in. Might still have one or two.
