I have 50 gallons of true water volume and use 1/2 a cup. I replace it every 2-3 weeks.

some of you might know that i was battling dinoflagellate and i lost half of my sps colonies. So what i did was water change every everyweek and i fill up the BRS carbon/GFO filter both sides with carbon changed it every week. After a few months all my dinoflagellate was gone and everytime i use these carbon my water is like crystal clear. my tank is 80 gallons with a 40 gallon sump.

What's the shelf life on carbon? I still have almost a bucket full of BRS lignite but am tempted to stock up on this if everyone gives it a good review.

Reactor, you would want to use more if you just use a bag.

according to google it has a infinite shelf life if kept in a sealed container.

yea, if you keep the moiture to a minimum, it have indefinete shelf life.

If you reach 20+ ppls..count me in.
