Carbon Group Buy

BTW - I have never been opposed to the person coordinating the group buy to make a little extra money. As a matter of fact, I would prefer the person make a little money instead of lose money. Also the little cash can buy a nice bottle of aspirin for the headaches. :D My only request is that the person puts a full disclaimer on how much money he/she is making.

I have to agree 100%.

I have been real-world occupied excessively over the last couple of weeks, hosting internation IBM developers (who flew back yesterday). I will get to my PayPal later today and up a few extra bucks to ya, just sorry it took me this long to catch up on my threads.

I also have to agree.

and THANK YOU very much for setting this up. I prefer not to paid $10+ for a several oz. when I get 5lbs for $7.

If you still have some extra carbon in your order that you need to find a home for, I'll be happy to PP you right away for 5 pounds worth. It sounds like you're going forward with ordering anyway, and I'm sure the funds would clear by the time you receive the carbon.

UPDATE

Order is complete! It will go out UPS monday afternoon, and I should get it before Friday :)

As I promised, once this order was secure I would share this very valuable resource with ALL of RC, and here it is:

http://carbonactivatedcorp.com/

If and when you call, I highly recommend you speak to the sales manager, Omitha Devendra. I also highly advise you to use my name in reference, Justin Bales. Dont use my name if you want an ordinary deal, but do use it if you want an exceptional deal ;)

Again thank you guys for being a wonderfull bunch, you all were very understanding and patient. I DO APPRECIATE IT :D

Stay tuned, on Friday, assuming the order has been delivered on time, I will update this thread for a location for all of you to meet up with me and get your goods. If you miss your chance to pick it up, no worries, I will bring it to our October meeting for final dispursement.

I would like it double wrapped using tin foil and saran wrap, doubled tied with two bright pink bows and a thoughtful card placed on my doorstep.....

That was included right?

Anyone wanna fill me in in what carbon does? All I know is that it makes the water more clear and less stinky??

and what would I need for it to be ran?

It pulls out nasties that softies (zoos) and and other contaminants. It clears your water to crystal clear, and gets rid of any smells that the water had.

I run mine 24/7 and change it out every month.

Guess whats sitting at my doorstep?Hmmm?
Time to go gets some bags :)
Shoulda seen the UPS guy lugging them around, "Man what are these things!" heheh. Im thinkin this Sunday at 3pm in the parkinglot at yourreef ,Up front by the street where theres some shade :), that'll give me time to get the supplies to divide,if your jonezin for some carbon now and got your own containor and a scale you can PM me for directions to my house, I'll be home pretty much all day today.

Oh yes, bagging :)

I remember what a pain that is. If there is something I can do to help let me know. What kind of containers do you want to ues? I have "lots" of clean grocery bags from Raleys if that would help.

Thanks John, I have lots of Safeway bags too. Only problem is they need to be in a sealed containor otherwise they will "filter" the air there subjected too and continue to absorb if exposed. Gonna have to go buy some big freezer zip locks.

Hey Justin I have a digital scale we use for packing, I could lend you for this project.
It goes from ounces to like 400 pounds.

Let me know.

Did you factor in the bagging costs into what we paid you ? Since I know our order is larger, it likely would take several bags, so let me know if you need any more $$. I had actually forgotten about that aspect myself :)

P.S. This weekend it looking really bad for us, I will PM you about coordinating a better time/date, at your convenience of course.

You payed a lil more than your share of taxes and paypal fees, so your covered Tom, no worry, Pm when your ready :)
