caribbean reef octopus questions

im planning on having my 75 set up for a car. reef oct by summer and was wondering a few things
anyone here ever had this species and if so what was its personnality?
also would you reccomend drilling the back of the tank for an over flow and return or use a canister filter
substrate?
and last has anyone tried using a fighting conch shell bout the size of a basket ball for the oct. home?

Yes i have had this type of octo.... go to Tonmo.com there i have posted about this species as well as others and they have alot of great info....
