I have seen pictures of damsels hosting anemones in the wild. Usually as juvies. Clownfish are in the damsel family. It is not unnatural for them, although not entirely normal either.
I've read that the Domino will host certain anemones as a juvenile, but depending on the species of your carpet (probably haddoni) i might be a little cautious, as haddoni carpets have been known on rare occasion to eat even clowns.
