Carpet acclimation?

I just got a green carpet nem about 10" wide and I hve it in a bucket and I am drip acclimating right now. Is this the way to go and how long do I acclimate him 4?

drip acc is the best way to go. Looking forward to seeing some pics.

I usually drip acclimate for an hour -- but that can vary if the salinities are fairly different, or shorter if it anemone looks stressed.

IMO/E, light acclimating is more important --- I like to use 3 layers of window screening (( supported by egg crate )) b/t the lights and the tank. I remove a layer every 5-7 days.

you've probably already introduced at this point but for future reference, IMO it helps to introduce a new anemone in as close to total darkness as you can. my opinion, but i think it helps reduce stress
