carpet ame

I'd first advise the use of gloves when dealing with a carpet anemone.

With bubble tips I would slowly rub the edge of the foot until i was able to get under it with my finger, then I would slowly work the foot off the rock. This is to taken slowly not to injure the anemones foot. This works well if the anemone is attached smoothly to a rock...if its foot is buried into a rock...I dont know

Haddoni are usually attached to the bottom glass or whatever you have under your sand. If it is, then you would have to dig up the sand, find it's foot, and use a razor to scrape it cleanly. Wear gloves or put your Han inside a plastic bag. You don't want to touch a carpet with your varehand especially I it's a healthy one.
Gigantea are the one that attach to the rock. I would do what Taylor suggested.
