carpet and clowns

What type of "carpet" ?

There is no trick, just let them do it on their own. Any type of forcing could very well get them eaten.

Back when I had my Clarkii pair (( had them for 10 years )) they were hosted by my Haddoni, they just went into it one day and never left it.

Hmm...It was actually mine...And I am not sure of what kind of carpet it is, may be able to find out from the previous owner ..I also may have a pic of it if that will help....but some back round info on it....other owner had it in a FOWLR and a XXL tomato clown hosted it..I got the carpet a few months ago..and had it in its own tank with nothing else...and gave it to MSMAN..and when he introduced the anemone..one of his clarkis went right to it and got stuck to it..he had to pull it off by hand....will that clown be O Kay and do you think they will be able to form a symbiotic relationship in time..?
Oh yeah..the carpet to me is a basic carpet..has that maroonish flesh look of softy trees and leathers..and the polyps aren't green but are tinged to a geen color..I have a green w/ white stripes and is not like that..but again I will try to find a pic of it..

Really need to see a picture of it to make an ID, which will go a long way towards being able to say if I think the Clarkii will be hosted by it, and if it will be okay.

When I first introduce my new Saddleback pair to my tank, they went right for my Haddoni, both of them got a little bit stuck, but within 20 minutes had adjusted to it, and have been fine every since.

Not the greatest pic but it has the tomato in it..

It appears to be a Haddoni. While nothing is a guarantee, I would suspect that the Clarkii will be hosted by it in time. Just needs to get used to it, and for sure would not attempt to force it to be hosted.

got nervious and covered the nem with a spaghetti strainer. you think i should just uncover it and turn out the lights and let things settle down
