carpet and t5's

I am looking to upgrade my lighting to 4 or 6 t5 overdriven with the icecap 660. I was wondering if this would be enough in a 24" deep tank. well with the DSB its more like 18".

T-5s with individual reflectors should do a good job. They might not grow as vigorous, but they should be happy.

I just installed 8 x 39W T5s with ICECAP 660s and SLRs in my 215 and they are VERY bright. (I did go with a high-proportion of lower K bulbs though.) I think that you'll be just fine based on my own observations and also TheGrimReefer's data on PAR values. I'll let you know for sure when my tank is stable enough for me to add a nem of my own though
