I purchased a green carpet about a week ago and he has been placed on a rock mid way down my reef. He has not moved and is doing great. He seems to be very happy and healthy where he's at and is eating well.
I have read that carpets should be placed in a sand bed towards the bottom. Is this true or is it just more common? Is it ok to have the carpet on the rock? I guess its up to the anemone.
Also, I have a tank raised percula clown. Will the clown host this anemone with do time?

Thanks!

carpet doesnt have to have sandbed to do well.
my blue carpet doing well with BB.
what carpet is it? haddoni or giga?
mine was haddoni, all my clowns wont even look at it.(yes. that's "was" not b/c it died, the carpet getting too big i have to sell it, once i change to BB it went from 12">17+" and my tank is 18" wide.)
GL with the clowns.
