Carpet anemone - Halide lighting

Hi there,

I've had a green carpet in my current tank for about 9months now, seems very happy. The tank is 19" high with 150w halides. The anemone has his foot in the sand between two rocks. I'm upgrading the tank and it's going to be 26" deep (24" water depth), with 250w halides. Will this be ok for it, or is it likelly to get upset with the 250w or will it just feel like the 150w due to the extra depth?

You should acclimate the anemone to the brighter lights just as you would corals. Using layers of screening (remove one layer per week) or slowly lowering the MH over a period of 6 weeks will work fine.
