Carpet anemone help

Hello
I have had this green carpet for over two weeks. He was looking like this till today;

Today:

Is there something wrong with it?
It shrank but the mouth isn't coming out it looks like it's melting or deflated?
Anybody know why this is happening?

He is digging in. I would just leave him alone and see what he is like tomorrow

Totally agree, he's getting his foot to the glass under your sand bed. What lighting are you using? Here's mine, I've had "the green monster" for 3 yrs now, I just switched over to ATI bulbs and he displays like he was under my halides and I rarely feed. He's bigger than a dinner plate!
