Carpet Anemone Not Doing to Well

Greetings to all!!!

I am new to Reef Central and I am looking for a little feedback with a problem I am having. I have a carpet anemone which is acting extremely strange! During the day when my lighting system is on, the anemone will not open. Strange part is that when the lights are off the anemone opens. If anyone has any input as to why this is occurring it would be greatly appreciated.
