Carpet anemone

Was doing some research on carpet anemones and read that they will kill the fish in your tank. Has anyone ever had this happen?

I've never had it happen personally, but Haddonis are well known for eating/stinging/killing fish of any size. Occasionally the other carpets will do this also, but Haddoni carpets are notorious for it. Some have even taken out a clownfish on rare occasions.

Really? So I shouldnt keep any fish with it but clownfish?

Some haddoni carpet are better at eatting fish than other. Some fish are not as smart as other. On a whole, you will loose some fish to this carpet so it is best to keep it in a species tank or in tank where there are no "valuble fish". Of course the meanning of valuble is different to each reefer.

Ive never had a carpet kill my fish! Thats crazy tho
