Carpet Anemones

Mako Shark II

Fish are Friends not Food
I was traveling this weekend and I found some cherry specimens for $150. (They were like 9" across)

What are the Pros v. Cons of this critter?

They take up a ton of space and tend to eat fish (a guy in Nashville had one that ate 4"+ fish on occasion). I like them, but I'd probably do a somewhat dedicated system for them if I kept one. You can still keep coral with them, but if they touch coral, they are likely to kill it-the stickier an anmone, the harsher the sting, generally.

What kind of carpet. The requirement of S. haddoni and S. gigantea are vastly different. Rish to fish is also different. A picture would be nice to ID the animal
