carpet anenome stuck inside pump

I have a Carpet anenome that is stuck in a pump. I shut the pump off hoping it would release from the pump but it has been 12 hours and it is still stuck. Should I pull it out or wait? The anenome looks fine other than being stuck. I have had it for for two years without any problems.

can you disassemble the PH and unwind him from it without doing any other damage maybe?

that sucks hope it lives.

Thank you for the advise. I removed the powerhead and he has alittle tear. I hope he will be ok. Time will have to tell

my haddoni just got manhandled by 2 of my PH's, a mp40 then after i got him out..he floated into my wp40..second time around was bad..he did not make it.
