Carpet & Long Tentacle Plate Coral

My Haddoni carpet was lonely I guess because he moved over and is sitting right next to the coral. Is or could this be a problem starting? Could the nem hurt the plate coral?

Could be a huge problem. The carpet could definitely hurt/kill the long tentacle plate (which can be tricky even under the best of circumstances)

Ok, I was afraid of that! I moved the coral about 6" away.
