:strange:After clouding 300g of water, anemone proceeded to release eggs. It is difficult to see them in these blurry videos, but you notice them in the very beginning of each video
I thought so, too. First the tank got very cloudy between 9pm and 10:30pm, 30 mins later there were eggs released in batches. I could see them very clearly, no doubt they were eggs.
????
My very large haddoni only released sperm when he spawned last year. No eggs.
Did you see your's release the sperms? Are there any other animals in your tank that could release the sperms?
It would be highly unlikely that sperms from other animals trigger the release of eggs in haddoni.
I did not see it release sperm. There is an urchin that has been spawning for 15 years. He spawned earlier yesterday, like 6 hours before the anemone. There are no other animals that could foul 300g of water to the point that I could not see 5" into the tank with a powerful flashlight.
The tank is still very cloudy 12 hours later and the whole house smells
My brother's haddonis had only ever released sperm once that I can remember, I guess it's good that he was there to get it as it was happening! I didn't even think that it could cause a whole house to stink, that's pretty crazy to think about.
I had a haddoni spawn only once. Eggs first then milt. Tank got very cloudy and the fish gorged on the eggs. I was not expecting this so I was not able to collect the eggs. This never happened again.
